Licensed Tour Guide
Born in KL, I’m enthusiastic about connecting our rich tapestry of: heritage, culture, community, architecture and food. The experience I share with you is to go beyond the thrill of discovery, sharing stories and authentic experiences.
I’m here to help you identify most with Malaysia by exploring its cultural landscape through the eyes, traditions and stories of those who personify it. Join me to make memories and immerse yourself with local culture.
Manjeets knowledge of what made Kuala Lumpur the incredible city it has become is second to none. She has taken such a great amount of care and effort in ensuring you actually get to learn, taste, see, smell and hear the real KL. If you’re scrolling through here not sure what to do when you first arrive in then look no further and book this experience. Myself and my partner would never have been brave enough to explore these locations on our own. Manjeet is awesome! We recommend this tour to everyone that comes to KL!!

Manjeet was such a lovely tour guide. I enjoyed this tour very much. It was such a great educational experience learning about the different cultures in Malaysia. You will not have the same experience walking around this city if you don’t have Manjeet as your guide to teach you. I had some difficulty with my transportation on this morning and Manjeet was so gracious to meet me at a different location even though I was about 30 minutes late. She also helped me with setting up my phone with a SIM card and offered so many useful tips about Malaysia. I highly recommend this tour!
- Brette
Very good knowledge of the history and background of KL enjoyed our walk and the cocktail and speakeasy. Would recommend Manjeet

What a lovely tour!!! So well planned and so many thoughtful touches. Started with a few local snacks as we then rambled around the river & old buildings of KL, with lots of interesting tidbits of history at every stop. Plus a break timed just right in the middle, and ending at a cleverly hidden speak-easy behind a toy story. Fun & fascinating. A wonderful 2-hour tour!

An absolutely marvellous tour! Manjeet was kind and patient, and so incredibly knowledgeable about KL, both past and present. What with showing us photos of how the city looked like in the past, and with offering Malaysian delicacies that she'd brought for us to share, these thoughtful little touches truly helped make our day much more special. The tour itself was well-organised, showcasing the lesser-known but no less compelling parts of Kuala Lumpur, with Manjeet's fascinating commentary running throughout - it was a delight to hear her interweave facts and history with her own personal childhood memories. The speakeasies were a lovely way to end the tour - the cherry on top! Wonderful experience, and 10/10 would recommend!

Manjeet is an excellent host. This tour combines the perfect combination of historical knowledge, passionate personal stories, fantastic sites, sounds and tastes of KL. The tour left me with a feeling of being connected to the city and not simply just a tourist. Spend a couple of hours with Manjeet...you will be so glad you did!

Tourist traps are pervasive. But what makes them interesting is understanding the narrative behind their emergence. Manjeet’s tour avoids the tourist traps entirely, and cleverly weaves the story of KL while walking the very streets that history has built and changed. A valuable experience for any city. You won’t be disappointed.

Manjeets sundowner walk is really something to recommend. We got to know the city a whole lot better and the walk-and-talk thing worked perfectly. Never boring and room for asking questions. Her english is very good and the surprise was great!

Really interesting perspective on the city! It was great to wander and see the city through Manjeet’s eyes. Drinks at the speakeasy made me feel like a local!

What can i say manjeet is an awsome person who really loves what she does for a living a true kuala lumpur historian, was in KL on business for a few days managed to fit one tour into my schedule apart from work and it was worth every second and trust me you wanna stick around to the end of the trip the surprise is awesome and the speakeasy are really good, we had an excellent conversation and what's nice is that you are a part of a group if you come as a solo traveler like i was and this way you get to meet people on the tour definitely opened my eyes to the history of KL and Malaysia in general, of you wanna go off the beaten track and get some real culture then be sure to check it out. Plus she helped me find an amazing gem in Jalan Alor

Manjeet tells the inside stories of the streets and alleys of Kuala Lumpur. She weaves the culture, history and identity which you get from someone who is passionate about her city. I had a truly wonderful time in this sundowner walk! Thanks for the awesome recommendations Manjeet!

This was a fun experience. Manjeet was a great tour guide and was knowledgeable in Malaysian history. She paired pictures of the past with current areas visited, this was a nice touch. I would recommend this experience.

This experience with Manjeet was a lot of fun. Walking around old KL, we saw a lot we would have missed on our own. The history and stories she told us really enhanced the experience and our understanding of KL. At the end of the tour, we went to two of the speakeasies she recommended. They were awesome!! See you next time, Manjeet!

Am so glad to have Manjeet as my personal guide. She was very responsive and wanted to be more personal with her guest so she did not mind at all that i was alone at that time. I liked the short history of malaysia that she gave me. It was very interesting. We exchanged information about our countries. After the walk, we had a great traditional malaysian dinner. Then we had a hot choco time near her house. I indeed found a new friend in manjeet. Highly recommended.
